Shun Kuribayashi (
Appearance[]
Kuribayashi is a thin and average height college student with ear-length blonde hair, light-colored eyes or dark-colored eyes and thick-framed rectangular glasses[1]. He has narrow eyes and prominent front teeth.
He usually wears plain pants and a t-shirt with a checkered shirt or a jacket over it.
Personality[]
Kuribayashi doesn't talk as much as Yoshiaki does, but he likes to comment on Kazuya Kinoshita's girlfriends and appreciates their looks. Like Kibe, he also likes to give Kazuya grief. He does not hide his admiration and desire for beautiful women.
Plot[]

Kuri eventually reveals to have a girlfriend of his own, but in actuality she is also a rental girlfriend. They go on a double date and have a good time, not knowing what transpired between Ruka and the other two. Eventually Kuri discovers Ruka has revealed her true identity to Kazuya, causing Kuri to be humiliated and isolate himself out of embarrassment.
After some time in isolation, Kuri accepts a meeting with Kazuya. To his surprise, he is instead encountered by Chizuru, realizes she is also a rental girlfriend, and goes on a date with her arranged by Kazuya. After spending time with her, Kuri is relieved and goes back to being his normal self.
During summer break, Kuri comes back with a deep tan. It is also revealed that he is good friends with Mini, much to Kazuya's surprise.
In the Paradise Arc, Kuri is invited to join the Kinoshita family. To his utter shock, Ruka is also a part of the event. The two hide their awkwardness in order to not cause a scene. Later on, Kuri has a moment to speak with Ruka alone and tells her his appreciation for Ruka being his rental girlfriend.[2] When Chizuru's occupation is revealed, Kuri tries to defuse the situation and defends her and Kazuya.

Etymology[]
- The name Shun means "fast" (駿?).
- Shun's surname Kuribayashi means "chestnut" (栗, kuri?) and "forest" (林, hayashi/bayashi?).
Trivia[]
- Kuribayashi hangs out with Kazuya Kinoshita and Yoshiaki Kibe as a "friend in the background"[1][3].
- Kuribayashi wears contacts on occasion.[4]
- He is the second character to discover Kazuya's fake relationship.
- He is one of the few characters to realize Chizuru has feelings for Kazuya.
